CA CH CANDYLAND'S WOODCREEK PHOEBE
Phoebe is where we got our start with showing dogs at Woodcreek Pugs. We retired her after and placed her in a pet home. Her daughter Beatrice, out of #5 in the Country in 2004 Candyland's Bustre Bar, is carrying on in her place. Read on to learn more about Phoebe.

| When we decided to
pursue showing and breeding pugs, we wanted to obtain the best genetics we
could find. We wanted to look out of state, and find
some bloodlines no one else in the area had.
That's how we ended up working with Candy Schlieper at Candyland Pugs. In May of 2004, I flew out to Ohio to pick up Phoebe as a 4 month old puppy and bring her home. As of 2006 Phoebe is a finished Canadian Champion, and has 7 points toward her AKC championship. She is pretty, small bodied , and has the sweetest temperament a pug could have.

As of December 2005, we have moved Phoebe from the showring into whelping mode. She produced a very nice litter of 5 babies out of Candy's premier stud Candyland's Bustre Bar, who was the number 5 pug in the country in 2004. One boy from that litter is a finished champion, and the other is only a few points away with both majors. November 2007............... After one litter we have retired Phoebe. She has been spayed and placed in a wonderful pet home. We will miss her dearly. We are focusing on her daughter Beatrice as the foundation for our kennel.
