Phoebe's 1/22/06 Litter

1/22 Early AM: Phoebe delivers 5 live babies, 3 by C-Section.    Caught us a bit by surprise, but the babies are doing fine.   This is a breeding to Bustre Bar from Candyland Pugs.   Bustre was the #5 ranked Pug in the USA in 2004!   We are very excited about this litter.

From left to right: Othello, Olivia, Aragon, Miranda, and Beatrice.   All are doing well and have doubled their weight in one week.    See how they are lightening up?

2/4/06   The litter is two weeks old.   Eyes are open now; lots of changes.    Phoebe is eating and producing milk like a high producing sow!

2/19/06  Puppies are now 4 weeks old.    A few colds but all are
doing great!

3/6/06  Puppies are now 6 weeks old.    Finally they look like miniature pugs!   They are weaned now; eating like little piggies.

3/28/06  Puppies are now 9.5 weeks.     We are very happy with how the litter is progressing.
